My time here will be very limited for a bit. Within the next two weeks the Dr.'s are planning a surgery for my dad. They found a small cancer spot in his esophagus caused from a medical condition call Gerd.
It will be an out patient surgery. This is a common thing that happens when a person has the Gerd syndrome. They caught it early, which is amazing.
And I have a funky thing going on with me.
So, if you don't receive a response from me that is why. It will be best if I just step back a bit because of stress instead of losing my cool with people/situations.
I cut my hair off. A good 4 and a half inches. Feels so much better. I wanted to start over from pink. Onto another subject.
I see a lot of different things on VR since holding Regent position. I can see when someone is saying one thing and then in a difference place something entirely different.
I don't play those games and I refuse to deal with those kind of games. If you claim to me that you don't do those games and I see you doing exactly that, then I'll group you with the rest of those that do and cut ties.
While I might have some disappointment about having to take that action, rest assured, after I call you on it I'll get over it with a quickness.
You envy that you have more access, can see more then I can. Though I have lately just taken the stance here to try to not let anything get to me. Even with the limited access I do have I have had some disappointment as well. Some of it I spoken to you about in messages. I have learned, and normally the hard way, sometimes things here are not what they appear to be, with some people.
Honestly, in almost 4 years I have been on VR I can count the real friends I have made here on my fingers and I do not even have to take my shoes off to start counting on my toes. I try hard to just be me and present me to people. I am far from perfect and there have been times I have regretted what I have said to people afterwards. I know some people will like me and I know some people do not like me. My saying for VR lately is 'It is what it is...'

It doesn't matter what proof is laid out in black and white, some people will always choose to live in the fantasy land of seeing some as wonderful. It is much easier for one to lie to themselves and believe it, than remove the blinders and see things they don't want to see. And that's not from seeing behind the scene of things. That little tidbit just 'sweetens' the pot' on knowing the goings on.
People's actions are in reaction to the shitty actions. They have chosen to hold the person accountable for their shitty actions. You want to blame someone, how about putting the blame on the person who keeps doing the same shitty things over and over.
Their actions are the cause of the reaction. Their ongoing shitty actions are the reason why people have chosen to express their distaste. So no, it isn't their actions that have made so and so hate VR- it's the fact they are now getting a dose of reality and they don't like it.
I think the people supporting The Asshole in this case are also to blame, because they've had it pointed out time and time again and still continue to support The Asshole - which inflates The Asshole's ago and continues to feed the notion that The Asshole can do/say whatever the hell they want - treat people how they want, because they'll always have a backing of people who are so desperate for attention that they're willing to ignore everything The Asshole does.
You can only treat so many people like crap - until you throw a rock at the wrong person, until you stomp on the wrong field of flowers.
When Mad TV was on there was a character named Stuart. His thing was "Look what I can do". A comment in my journal made me think of that. That is exactly the role I see *that* in.

The term friends and bullying are thrown around so easily around here. When thrown around so willy nilly the meaning tends to become convoluted, leaving it tainted and just another word spoken.
Kind of like the boy who cried wolf- after so many times, it means nothing.
Hence why my friends know who they are. They may be few but they are the only people that have my cell number. Everyone else is a floating cyber head to me.

Back off owlish, the prince is my best friend. Why, once when I bought a premium membership I even got a message from him informing me that it had been activated. Imagine that! An honest to goodness message from Cancer! So what if it said "automated message" and "do not respond."

There are times when I come across something while poking around and it makes me just dumbfounded. You know it's just outright not even close to being anywhere true. And yet they believe it so much, they thought other people would believe it. Like really? While some people are blind because they choose to be, not everyone is. People see it. People have proof that it isn't true.. Like really?
Everything that just comes out is such an unreasonable amount of bullshit it's insane. Could it get anymore like a cyanide laced kool aid party? Cripes.
There are times I don't either. lol When you can see everything it just makes it more clear the ones you know are batshit crazy, really are fucking batshit crazy.
